A long time band parent, Jon Heilman, has taken it upon himself to research, compile, compose and present a rich historical component to our band website. Jon is also the webmaster for our website.

His purpose was to make sure there was a robust and permanent history of our band program which has been integral to the fabric of our community since the beginning of the 20th century.

Alumni, current and future members of our program are the target audience.

Over the course of the last five years, Jon has researched and published an ongoing, richly detailed historical narrative covering the history of our band program. Over the last year he has made these articles available on our band’s website and social medial outlets.

The success can be felt in the response we have received in our stakeholders appreciation and excitement over Jon’s work. They have strengthened their ties to the program and have made our rich history even more so by providing outstanding depth and breadth of information.
